Since December 2022, we’ve felt called to passionately spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, aiming to make a positive impact in people's lives. Get to know our founders!

Pastor Jose and Vivian Tejada are a remarkable couple whose lives are deeply rooted in their love for the Lord and their dedication to serving His people. Their unwavering faith and commitment to living according to God's word have been the driving force behind their ministry and the way they live their lives.

For over a decade, they faithfully served as co-pastors in the state of New York, touching the lives of many and spreading the good news of the Gospel. In 2016, they felt a strong calling to embark on a new journey, and they took a bold step of faith by relocating across the country to Ventura County, California. In December 2022, after a lot of prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, they founded ‘First Love’, a ministry whose mission is to share the love and teachings of Jesus Christ.

They have two adult children, Jazmin and Alex as well as a son and daughter-in-love, Mark & Abby. Perhaps their greatest adventure yet is coming soon in the way of their first granddaughter, expected December 2023! They embrace this new chapter with excitement and are eager to pass on their legacy of faith and love to the newest addition to their family.
